Nitin leads business operations for Disney’s branded portfolio of apps and websites across the company. This includes Disney, ABC, ABC News, Freeform, FX, and National Geographic. In this role he is responsible for driving scale and efficiency for Disney’s digital media business.
Prior to his current role, Nitin was responsible for leveraging disruptive technologies such as Internet-of-Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Geo-location to create uniquely Disney products and experiences in categories such as gaming, entertainment-based smart home products, wearables, robots, and cars.
Chawla has also held leadership positions at Deloitte Consulting LLP and Johnson & Johnson, spending his initial professional career in advertising at J Walter Thompson. He holds a Master’s of Business Economics from University of Delhi, India and an MBA in General Management from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
